Alicante produces a heavy crop of greenback free fruit early in the season. The flavour is excellent. Alicante possesses all the things we look for in a tomato.
Harvest time: July to September
How to grow: An easy grow cordon type, best suited to greenhouse production but can be planted outside in a sunny spot. Feed with a proprietary fertiliser once first truss has set fruit. Water regularly and evenly during dry spells. Side shoots should be removed and the central stem will need supporting.
