Description
Japanese Maple Atropurperum is a deciduous ornamental tree which produces bronze-crimson leaves during the spring and summer which then become a brilliant red in the autumn. They may also produce red-purple flowers in the spring which are followed by winged purple fruits.
These fully hardy trees are excellent for sheltered areas of the garden and can grow large when given the room.
