Description
Photinia x Fraseri 'Red Light' is an extra special variety of Photinia. Not only do you get bright red foliage from the new growth but also ,the stalks are tinted red. This variety of Photinia is evergreen and winter hardy meaning it keeps its leaves all year round and will survive the frost.
This plant will prefer a partially shady spot as the new growth tends to often be slightly tender and when exposed can get burned by strong winds or harsh sun.
You can use this plant to create dense hedging which grows quickly and gives great contrast amongst the greens in the garden 2-3m tall.
