Description
Hydrangea First Editions® Eclipse® is a the first, true dark leafed mophead hydrangea. It has a super distinctive dark coloured leaf and produces some sensationally vibrant blooms during the summer and into late autumn.
The flower colour will change depending on the soil ph. Planting in acidic soils will turn the flowers purple and planting in more neutral soil will turn the flower a cranberry red.
These hydrangeas will eventually grow to a size of 5ft height and spread depending on the space they have to grow. They can also be grown in a pot.
